Only thing lacking is Plasma cutter and spoolgun...spool gun is ordered and it will stow low behind bottom stick welder...Plasma goes on middle shelf with motorguard filter behind it.... cart is designed it to accept Hypertherm 45...problem is whole thing already weighs almost 500lbs and a strain on the casters, so rethinking casters...I got some really heavy duty casters I've been saving for my welding table...... I think I'll install them and used the old ones for my drill press.....otherwise I'ma very happy with cart.

That's a really nice job, it looks good. I made mine from an old bariatric wheelchair. I wish I was getting a Hypertherm plasma cutter.

Divorce the wife and eat ham sandwhiches and drink Pabst...then you can buy the Hypertherm...worked for me:):):):)

Hey, seriously guys, thanks for the compliments...I wanted all my welding stuff on one cart so I took a little time to calculate deminsions once I decided on what welders/cutter to buy then built the cart to fit and I'm stuffin things on it as I can afford them....they have their place reserved once the money is available...Plasma cutter next, then GM gen III engine for my Jeep TJ...that's the plan:)

So will you use steel wheels due to the heat?

It's not a heat thang at all that makes me worry......I used 4" swivel casters with cast iron wheels, but they are a little too small to smoothly traverse the concrete joint tween my shop and driveway-especially on a cart that weighs 500Lbs loaded with welders, bottles and cutters and cords and rod...PLUS this dufus azz didn't use casters with a brake feature, so the cart wants to travel by itself....

I found these HUGE heavy casters and mounting plates for 20 bucks each on the web....Two of them have foot brakes...I ordered them for my soon to be built welding table but will transplant them to the cart this week and just buy more of same for table.
