Its too much darn fun! I was metering things in the car on the way home, haha.

This ones a keeper, however I do suggest the $29 Ryobi at home depot, works great too.

I love playing with mine, and also using it when I actually need a temp reading.

If you have a cat, it will go bonkers chasing the red dot around at high speeds. An added bonus!

I usually miss them by minutes, but it must have been a good night. This was posted 1h ago and I figured I should try.

Sadly I wish more were like this, unlike the ad I replied to Saturday. A Intake manifold and Carbs for one of my race cars for $100, called him and left a message. Shortly after the ad was edited to only include the manifold, no carbs for the same price :-\

Buying off craigslist can be hard work. At a minimum, you have to check it morning, noon and night, have cash on hand and time to go and look. The real bargains seldom last an hour, unless they are mis-described, no pics or way-to-hell-and-gone.

Then, you have to deal with the guys who post an ad but never answer e-mails or phone messages, or the ones who say, "make offer" but really want 80% of retail.

You hit the nail on the head with that. I just picked up a Macsimizer the other day, but during my search for a new box, I encountered all of the above. Emailed one guy who responded the next am with an entire page email, to tell me he had sold the box but had another KRL that he wanted to sell, provided the SO link and price and said to call him. I called and left a detailed message stating my interest, he never returned my call. Emailed him back and never responded, I dont get it. The make offer ads drive me nuts as well, just tell me what you are looking to get so I will know from the start to either call on the item or move on. No wasted time for either party. I guess they are hoping someone will offer more then they paid or something. :headscrat
