Gotta love recent Divorcees!

I helped a co-worker fix a screen door prior to her house going on the market. She let me pick through what her ex left behind in the garage. Mostly junk but I managed to snag about 10 pounds of stainless bolts, wood maul, work bench, and vise.

The work bench top was made from a 30'x80' solid wood door. I was planning on making an additional bench so this saved some cash.

The vise was my real score. It's a 4-1/2 inch Columbian. I plan on restoring the vise to its original red glory.

Married, sharkin? Yes, maybe a good score, maybe a slippery slope . . . and so it begins. I know of two cases over the years where a guy starts out fixing things for a newly divorced/widowed friend/co-worker/neighbor. It ended with them having to sell their collector cars, tools, lake cabin; whatever, in their own divorce settlement.
