Goulds jet pump for well water . . HELP . . ! ! !

my friend next door has a gould jet pump and the tank rotted out . I took a look and if we can get an adapter fitting or just braze copper to the brass sealer nut i can make a universal tank work .

I have some HARRIS SAFETY-SILV 45. It shows great for copper to steel or brass. If i did this i can make the fitting we need . Then i can go to pex for the rest .

Here is some info tags and the old tank top pipe and nut . What do you guys think ? .... . Thanks .

silver soldered it this morning and installed the pipe then hooked up some pex to the bottom of the new tank and all is good and holding pressure .

I would prefer metal for this joint

I had 3 inches on a basement floor when a plastic pipe between the pump and tank failed
It held for about 3 weeks
Then failed at 3 A M
