I bought a few sockets from Tooltopia, received the sockets yesterday. Did a comparison and I don't see any difference in quality. In fact, they are identical. Just different stamping. Only difference is Sunex has embossed numbers and GP doesn't.

Are they both Taiwan made? I thought some of the Sunex stuff was Chinese made...

Sunex is Taiwan... NAPA re-badges them and I have a full set. No problems :dunno:

Never seen a Sunex impact not marked Taiwan. My boss does have a set of their crowsfeet that aren't marked, so their chrome stuff may indeed be Chinese. I can't complain about the impacts, especially for the price. I just bought a 29-39mm 12-point axle nut socket set for under $100, can't beat it for good quality.

I've heard, and read that GP are good. That may very well be true, but I can tell you from personal experience that Sunex impact sockets, and crows feet hold up very well to daily beatings. I also like that the size is stamped on the tool. I hate that laser etched ******** that wears off!
