Hello All,

GJ is a great place to learn. I worked on cars, & participated in oval track racing, a long time ago. Career and family passed the aforementioned on the priority list. Now I find myself with an emptying nest, and the urge to get my garage set up for project work.

I'm looking forward to reading about the efforts of other GJ members, and perhaps even contribute to the wealth of knowledge in some way.

My friends ran all over the place. The stock cars ran Mount Clemens, Toledo, Flat Rock, Spartan Speedways in Michigan, along with Checker Flag Speedway in Windsor, Ont. One guy ran a midget on the old AMRA circuit. I used to help out in the garages & pits.

HOTFR8: Thanks! I've seen your '48 thread. Nice, unique ride. A+ on creativity. Also checked out your extension (it's an addition in the States) - very nice as well. I can relate to the pain in the **** the local zoning people can be. I've been blessed as far as permits for my little shed I'm working on at the moment. The permit came through with no problems. I hope your extension goes smoothly to completion, and you are fruitful, with many, many mean machines coming out the door. Hey, does your shop sell T-shirts? I'd love to get one. Cheers!
