And here's the nut/bolt it may fit. Pics taken at the Hoover Dam visitors center outside of Vegas. Hard to judge the scale of the wrench but it is massive.

Call me a wimp, but if were a job of this magnitude, I'd pick up the phone before this wrench.

I don't know what happened to it over the years, but we used to have a double open-end wrench that had openings of four inches on one end and five inches on the other end. It was nearly five feet long, as I recall. It had belonged to my great-grandfather. Just what it was for, I never knew. He had owned a grist mill and a cotton gin at one time, and was a blacksmith as well.
