I acquired a good condition sprayer, turn on, nothing happens. Took apart and tested switch and fuse, both good.

Incoming voltage at switch only 55v. Is this correct for this sprayer?

never got a call back from tech support so I ask ya'll.

What is it powered from ? If it is plugged into the wall then it should be 120 volts. If you only have 55 then there is a good chance the cord is bad. Can you check the voltage at the end of the cord where it comes into the machine ?

Just got back from doing this, took it to a wall plug and still nothing.

Re-tested the cord at the ends, the cord is good. I need to see if the capacitor, resistor or mosfet on the board are good.

Where exactly are you reading the 55 volts ? How about a picture. A bad cord could read 120 volts until you put a load on it but then drop when you try to turn it on. Do you have a wiring diagram ? I dont see one on their web site.

Alright, this was a case of using a sledge hammer to kill a fly.

I got a call back from Graco this morning, guy said if I turned the pressure regulator knob to high, I didn't because the instructions said to turn it all the way down when starting.

After I had it on and turned the knob a bit it started up. Of course this is all while I took everything apart. Live and learn.

Thanks for the help though.
