Anybody have a Graco Truecoat 360 airless and how do you like it?

Looking for a small airless to paint trim, a room at a time.
Hate using a brush.

Have a Graco XR9 airless, but its overkill for trim and takes just as long to clean as it does to spray.

Also have a Graco/Earlex 2900 HVLP, which I've used for a bunch of doors in a "paint room". Works great for that but it puts too much paint in the air. Cleanup is pretty quick.

I have the ultra max cordless that uses the dewalt 20v dewalt batteries and I love it... wish they sold a base model without batteries, as I already had enough.. but whatever, now I have more than enough

I have the graco truecoat 360 vsp, the one with the variable speed and plug in cord. I’m pretty happy with it. I used it to paint some cabinets for my laundry room recently. Used a medium mesh strainer sprayed primer and Sherwin Williams urethane enamel. Then I sprayed the inside of my shed with some valspar 2000 exterior paint. The clean up was the worst part. Which for these two projects seemed like clean up took more time than spraying. 35154952fdddd37202a14061332b022b.jpgc6be6dfbbc9a74a76f811f775f180957.jpg

Thanks. I like that laundry room layout and color. The cover over the machines is a nice touch. I'll have to steal that idea.

I picked up a "new" (so they said) VSP on ebay. Should be here in a few days.
It comes with a 42oz flexliner cup, so I ordered a 32oz flexliner cage to downgrade it to be compatible with my Edge gun. Home Depot seems to have the best price on 32oz flexliners, $30.45 for 25 shipped to store.

I considered the cordless ultramax, but they're a bit pricey and I don't have any dewalt tools. Looks like you might be able to convert them from the switch tip to a flat tip by just changing the guard.

I've never had a major problem with any of my Graco machines, as long as I use them as intended and don't expect miracles. For example, I'm not going to paint the outside of my house with the Truecoat, it would work but take too long.

Cleanup is always an issue with sprayers. I have a temporary laundry tub outside fed by a hose bibb and draining to the sewer cleanout. Keeps the mess out of the house.

I actually wore out the pump on my graco airless handheld, it got me 80% through a whole house remodel, probably about 10 gallons through it before it died. Once you get used to the clean up it doesn't take nearly as long as the first time. Ended upgrading to one of their more pro stand models.
