Hey guys,
A couple of months ago I posted about an idea for a Grand Canyon themed folding knife and I got a lot of great ideas on construction methods. Here's pictures of the first of 4 I'm making. Going to give the other 3 to my sons when we make it down the Bright Angel Trail into the canyon next summer.
The design relies on a Jantz folder kit with desert ironwood and composite turquoise scales. The coin is a silver proof version of the Grand Canyon quarter from the US mint's America the Beautiful series.
