I recently was able to get my grandpas toolbox. I know the top is a snapon, but not sure about the bottom box. Anyone have any ideas or can point me in the direction to find out? I’m not going to restore, I just want to know more about it. Thanks in advance!!

Look on the back of it and see if it has anything stamped into it. Looks similar to one I had made by MBC(Metal Box Company).

The bottom box is most likely Snapon as well. The drawer pulls look identical to my kra59. No idea what model you have there though.

Thank you everyone. I went back out this morning. I can’t find any markings on the bottom box. Not sure if anything is small enough to be hidden behind the homemade tray with the wheels. The top box is a KR-533A, that marking was easy to spot.

Thank you! Absolutely priceless. He was a lifelong mechanic. His dad actually worked as a mechanic for Ford when they had a plant in Dallas, TX. I never got to work on cars with him, so this is the next best for me.
