I've been posting a few pics as I seek help in identifying certain things. I'll continue to do that, but wanted to put everything on here if it's allowed. So these are in no particular order.....

Ok, so before I send this I know it's 7 max. So this will take a few posts. Hope I don't get yelled at.

These pics are of the tool cart my grandfather used at Westinghouse, and was given when he retired. It's a beast. Heaviest thing I ever had to move.

And the Kennedy Kits toolbox from the 40s

You asked about value in another post, so I'll assume you're generally interested in selling the tools.

If you have time to sell every piece single, you might make a thousand dollars or so if you have anything collectable. I don't see anything particularly collectable there. Like I said in the plumbing stuff post, you might be better off offering the whole thing, toolbox and tools. If someone wanted just the boxes, would you have anywhere to keep the tools while you sold them?

If I were just getting started, I'd offer $400 for the lot.

That would be a variac. It's a sort of variable transformer used to bring voltages up slowly, or to tune in a specific voltage.

Well, until the house sells, everything is fine on the tables and plywood I have them spread out on. If I have to move I still have my craftsman tool cart and plenty of empty boxes on stand by. Plan to have my sale and an open house the same weekend. : ) Should be really colorful around my house in a few weeks.

Thanks. Yeah, the tag not shown in pic says Powerstat, and it's rated at 0-140v out, max 9a, max 1.3 kva Type V116 with a meter on it. Saw one on ebay for $50

Looking at that setup I'm guessing your grandpa died at a young age. It's sad to have to make the decisions of what to do with the previous generations possessions. I'll keep you in our prayers.
