So I posted these pictures in the Gray/Red Craftsman toolbox thread, because I got another one of these boxes for my collection. The story here to me is more about the tools that were packed in the boxes. According to the guy I bought them from these were his Grandfathers tools and he passed away in the 90's. Nobody in the family wanted these tools, so he put them in storage. I saw an ad on Facebook last week and was interested in the toolboxes, not really the tools until I got there and saw what was included. All good American made tools, SnapOn, Blue Point, Western Auto, Crecent, Par X, etc. As I was cleaning out the drawers, which were lined with cardboard, I found a picture of a man dated 1973. I figured this was Grandpa, so I text him the picture and he said yes that's him! I told him next time I got out his way I would bring him the picture. So, I am going to finish restoring the toolboxes, and the clean up the tools I can use, which are most of them, because we all need more toolboxes full of tools! His Grandpa's tools will get used again. I think I will keep a copy of the picture for the box, will see.
