I'm about ready to epoxy/clear my garage floor, and I would like to put a logo between the color and clear coats. I'm looking for recommendations for process/companies to get the vinyl from. I have a few samples of the perforated graphics (floorpix), but I'm concerned the base color will bleed through since I won't be able to match to colors. Are the perforated graphics necessary, or are there manufacturers of solid vinyl you guys have used that are durable. Thanks for any advice you all may have.

You can do them a few ways. The Floorpix ones are the best, but you better be sure you like the logo! Its there for good!

When you put them down you put the base coat on, then top coat, insert logo, top coat again. You'll have the first top coat bleed through, the second top coat just protects it that much more.

I will often do a vinyl sticker on top of a finished floor. IT doesn't last forever, but its easily replaceable, cheap ( especially since you only need 1 layer of top coat). More importantly, not permanent. Since they usually go down between tire paths, they last a while.... As well if guys flip cars a lot it makes it easy to replace the logo's with current car models.

Shaun is on the money!
Just when you thought they would bury you there.....

Place the decal on top for easy removal. Today's decals are made tough and can take quite a bit of traffic.

Good info on the decals. I think putting it on top is the solution for me. I was a bit hesitant.

How does Floorpix work? You send them a picture or ? I am thinking of either putting a pink Floyd album cover or something related to Harley Davidson. Would be great for it not to be permanent, so when I change bikes I won't have to worry about having an eyesore on the floor

You mean like this

Floor pix will make whatever you want if you send them the logo. ideally a vector, or a hi-res to it will blow up nice.

Its meant for retail outfits, with high traffic, and long leases! I think its on their site, but there is a picture of the levi's office. The floor looks like jeans are covering the floor.
