Gray Canada screwdriver review?

Anybody here have used or seen these? If so, how they compare to the competition? It's in promotion now for 61$.

I really hate the new "Mastercraft Maximum" screwdrivers set I bought a Canadian Tire. Already rusting out and hard to clean.

I will try to get a hold of the Gray ones in store if I can find them locally. If I can't get any info I will look to see the local Snap-on guy. Then I suppose I will hesitate between the Soft or Hard handle...

I really want to buy a quality set with a tray. Thanks!

The only gray screwdrivers i have are the clear yellow ones . I think Fuller makes them . They look just them anyway . I have no experience with the other screwdrivers , sorry . But the yellow ones are great .

I don't think I've ever used Gray screwdrivers. There is rather a limited Gray following on this board, simply because of limited US distribution... the German brands seem to dominate screwdriver discussions here (although having used Felo and Wiha, both are very good).

There are plenty of options for screwdrivers. Gray is a good bet for lots of items, wouldn't hurt to try their drivers. You probably also have a Fastenal locally, they sell Jonnesway branded screwdrivers that are made by one of the German makers. Only used one once, but it seemed nice (they look the same as the Bahco screwdrivers).

I would buy the amber handled screwdrivers. They are old school and I love my old Proto's of the same style

I love the clear amber drivers . And there Canadian made I'm very pleased with them .

it looks like there are 3 or 4 different types of Gray screwdrivers, yellow handled Cdn made, hard handled U.S. made and at least 1 type of Taiwan made screwdriver. Personally I have no experience with Gray screwdrivers, but I definetly wouldn't steer you away from the Cdn or US made ones. The offshore ones you could probably get for cheaper in another brand.

Personally I love the RONA hard handles. Pretty cheap and very strong imo. There aren't a million different sizes and types like there are in Mastercrap or Craftsman though. There is a set you can buy, then pick up the remaining types individually. I spent about $40 for about 15 screwdrivers. All I had to buy in another brand was a monster sized flat Fuller, everything else I could get in RONA.

Pretty big bump from the dead, but here goes...

I've used these in the past. I recently bought another small set (4 piece, all flat) the other day online - they just say "GRAY TOOLS" on them now. No 'GRAY CANADA'. I feel like typically their outsourced stuff from first world countries would say USA, GERMANY, whatever on it (in smaller font). So I'm guessing these are now asian production..?
