I went through a toolbox I don't open very often tonight...
It belonged to either my grand-pa or great-grand-father.
I may have some of the missing peices in another box I have not open for many many years.

It has become my master set for when I deal with imperial sizes, and it also scored itself a prime location in the toolbox! The flex-sockets are just awesome.

I probably have to look further into other threads, but does anyone know for sure whether or not, if a GRAY tool says the word "Canada" on it, it's for surely made in Canada?

I think a lot of their stuff made today is NOT Canadian made, but I inherited a lot of stuff that has "Canada" on it, and also have picked up used stuff at 2nd hand shops, but now wondering if I'm guarenteeing I'm getting Canadian product.

I've got wrenches, sockets, ratchets. Couple 20-30 year old screwdrivers.

I'd wage a guess that most of their Gray hardline products are still made in Canada. Socketry items and tool boxes that is. Punches and chisels, too?

But like the majority of tool companies out there, their entire lineup is made up by other outside brands: Canadian, American, and Asian.

Last year I bought a set of 3/8 dr. deep sockets and there were made in Canada . I've noticed that alot of there " new " tools are not Canadian made . Like my new soft grip screwdrivers and my slip joint pliers . They had no markings that say " Canada " or " USA " on it .

Yeah...NOT having Canada or USA on the tool scares me. Damn.

Thanks for all the info people.
