Says they are built in Spain, assuming outsourced, anyone have a ideas who makes them for GRAY? Reason is they are pretty cheap on Amazon.ca right now but I don't want to buy if they are ****....

They are "Grip-on" brand. Grip-on is a tool company in Spain. They make locking pliers and clamps.

Yes those are Grip-on. I haven't tried them, but it's obvious they got the right kind of release system I like.
