First time poster here. Been lurking for a few weeks but no posts yet. Still have a small tool set but its growing money permitting. Work at a u-haul repair shop so i work on trucks and vans from 1/2 ton up to 2 ton. Also do occasional side wrenching for cash. Tool set consists of craftsman, snap on mac and various others.

Anyone here use or hear of Gray Pneumatic sockets? Our local tool store here sells em. They have a lifetime guarantee and come packaged in nice blow molded plastic cases. They seem to be very high quality as a few guys at my shop (u-haul repair) have been using em for years. Has anyone else used or heard of em? i bought a few sets a couple of weeks ago when i bought my IR 2115TI and so far they have been amazing. Just looking for other opinions or reviews of em!

I don't have a personal set of Gray impact sockets, but we have a couple sets we bought for the shop. I haven’t seen one break yet, and the mechanics in the shop beat the hell out of them.

Every person I know that has them loves them. Best value in impact tools in my opinion. I'd stay away from their swivels, but their regular sockets are just great.

I have a 1/4" dr impact set with magnetic inserts.. I like them.. but the magnet spring broke on 2 sockets so far.. the 8mm and 10mm. My most used sockets out of the set.. and a matco dealer will warranty GP sockets.

Grey Pneumatic impacts sockets are hard to beat if you shop around for the best deal. I use them mostly for lug nut sockets and they have served me well. The only negatives I can think of are: They only have tiny gold lettering for size markings. The sizes aren't embossed or stamped into the socket. Their impact swivel sockets have a fat pin retaining collar which can get in the way in close quarters. These are minor issues and your results may vary. Grey Pneumatic impact sockets will give you years of service at a decent price.

yeah mine have the little gold lettering but they also have big numbers on the other side kinda like matco sockets. They havent worn off yet. I just bought a set of deep and shallow in standard and metric 3/8 drive with some extensions and a swivel to compliment my new 3/8 impact, and so far they are awesome they provide a VERY tight fit on the fastner. I also have a set of the 1/2 metric allen drivers from like 6-19mm they have proved very handy and the prices are even nicer! Glad to hear so much good stuff about them from other people

All my impacts are Grey Pneumatic and i have yet to have a problem with any of their sockets and i abuse the hell out of them. The quality of them is excellent and for the price they are hard as hell to beat.

Grey and Gray are not the same company. Isn't Gray made in Canada and Grey made in Taiwan ?

GP sockets are good quality. I sell quite a few & don't warranty very many.

I bought wobbles from my matco guy, in 3/8 and 1/2 inch. I beat the **** out of them, and lean on them pretty hard, and never had an issue. and for 125 bucks for the 3/8 wobbles, you can not beat that.
