Hi, I just bought some plier from my local Gray distributor, when I got home I noticed they were made in Germany. Does anyone knows who makes these plier for them?

I don't believe Gray has ever made their pliers in-house.

They were supplied by Utica decades ago, and another USA company until the recent switch to the German pliers.

Personally, I'd be more than happy with the German product!

Thanks guys for all the informations,

The cutter do look like the orbis, only with a different grip. The only kinda problem I had with the plier being made in germany is that I tought that all the "basics tools" were made in Canada, I know the 2 ratchets I bought some months ago are.

I believe sockets, ratchets, wrenches, punches, etc. are made in Canada at the Brampton facility.

Pliers, screwdrivers, bit sets, etc. are sourced from other manufacturers.

Gray Tools makes up a good portion of my tool box. I have looked at those pliers before but already have a full plier set, I do like them.
