Hi everyone

I emailed Gray tools yesterday about the warrenty on 3 of my gray wrenches. The crome is severly chipped 2 of them, The others a mess.

The nice lady from Gray emailed me back saying ''Send them to us and we will re chrome them for you''.

Any other too companies ever offer to Re chrome a wrench for you??
never heard of it until now???

I think its pretty cool!

No kidding? I have a couple of similar Grays; they had a real problem with their chrome in the 70s or 80s...

Might have to do the same!

You had better luck with contacting them, then I did. I read their published warranty statement, that made mention of authorized sellers, I asked specifically about a seller, and NO response.

Well at least it beats sending in on version of a wrench and getting a different one in return that doesn't match your set.

final update good news and bad news...

Bad...
The wrenches were lost in the mail Canada post *****.

Good...
Being I sent her picutres of the wrenches she sent me new replacements!! Grays coustomer service is awesome she called me the same day to let my know the package came with nothing in it and told me that I would be looked after.

I would have loved to see the re chroming job they would do & give new life to some old forgotten wrenches but I guess some postal workers doing it for me.

Heres the pictures of the new wrenches

Wow,customer service like that is almost nonexistant in this day and age.Gray went way above what any other company I've dealt with would have done.

Congratulations! I was looking forward to seeing how the re-chromed ones came back!

How does that 3/4 inch wrench compare to the rest of your set? I need a 3/4 inch wrench and noticed in the flier they are on sale.

It has a nice feel and the box end is on a higher angle then the rest of the wrenches I would reccomend it

How much are they asking for one anyways?
