Graymills HK150 Parts Washer?

I’m in need of a parts washer and found a used Graymills HK150 for $125 about 1.5 hours away. It’s in pretty good shape. I initially was going to get the Harbor Freight floor standing unit for $130, but then I saw the Graymills retails for over $1,200 and is rated for petroleum solvents (ie PSC-1000). Apparently the cheap modern ones aren’t.

I know nothing about parts washers, but I’m a sucker for old quality tools. My only concern is the shallow tank might lead to splashing solvent on me. Is there anything special about the Graymills besides the solvent compatibility? Think it’ll safely hold an iron cylinder head for cleaning without collapsing? Fluid capacity is 5 gallons but the width/depth of the cleaning area is bigger than the harbor freight one, just shallower.

You don't fill the tank to capacity. My 30 gallon unit has about 12 gallons in it. If you direct the flow into a corner on the part, yes, you can get splashed, but that's part of cleaning parts. You don't want to ever get anything on you, then invest the 7 grand or so in a vertical automatic unit.

Smoking deal, but make sure the pump is good. If not, price a new pump and decide. IME, the HF pump will not last long with kerosene.
