What happens when you don't use a tool often....

Just dug out a Metabo rotary I have in my stash. Has not been used in 2-3 years or so. As I used it, I got some grease fallout/leaking from the tool.

Experiance something similar with my Milwaukee Hole Hawg way back as well

Does *spinning* the drill every now and then good/better for the deal or the tool will just leak grease/oil regardless over time..

I bought a few old tools from some sellers that left the tools in the hot sun and all the grease was just leaking out all over the place. Best to open the tool up clean it out and repack it with some new grease.

i use moly EP wheel bearing grease. just remember not to overfill it with grease. only go about 50-60% full. you need a bit of air in there or it will over heat from fluid friction
