Co worker has an air powered Lincoln, it is unusual in that instead of one shot per trigger pull, it fires continuously while the trigger is held down, just like the .45 caliber version:). It works great and flawlessly.

As far as grease guns leaking, that is something you cannot avoid, the liquids and the solids tend to separate in the grease, especially under the pressure of the spring loaded follower. I keep mine in an old kitty litter tub on a bottom shelf. It can leak all it wants. I have to wrap it in rags when I pick it up to keep it from dripping all over the floor. The grease lasts longer and separates less if you pull the follower rod back and lock it back when not in use, takes the spring pressure off the grease. If you need to bleed it, release the spring follower to put pressure on the grease then, loosen the tube a turn or so and allow the air to bleed thru the threads, pump till it starts moving grease and tighten up the tube, works for me every time.

Bought a Lincoln lever action in early 70's and used the **** out of it...between farm and construction, better than a case of grease a week for all those years. Started acting funky a year or so ago and I bought an air driven HF unit...POS is a kind term for it. Just got a pistol grip Lincoln and it's GREAT...I know it will out live me

I got the 12 volt john deere grease gun made by alemite, hands down better than a lincoln cordless. One gun to not waste your money is a mega boost from legacy. It has a lot of force for hard taking zerks, but is slower then all holy hell even in "fast mode". I bought this stupid $100 hand grease gun because I deal with at least 10 zerks that don't take grease. When its all said and done, it still easier to pull the zerk out and pick the **** out. One note with the john deere cordless, there is a 14.4 out now. Talking with some customers who have both, they say no real difference in performance.

Around here the TUBI is common: http://www.tubisystem.se/ -I like the handle that makes it one-hand-operated.
