I run a lincoln pnuematic and both lincoln and alemite 2hand and pistol grip guns. there is not much difference between the two really. But I've started using the locking connectors and life is so much easier. These are the ones my local jobber carries

It pains me to say this, but for the $, the pistol grip ones John Deere dealers sell are just fine! Got several Lincolns and Alemites also.
The Deere hangs right with them.

I was going to mention this, my dad has had two of them for years, they are a good gun, and not very expensive. Deere sources a quality product.

Have an Alemite that Iv'e used for 20+ years without a problem. The only thing Iv'e done to the gun is make a longer hose for it so I can lay on a creeper with it on my chest to pump with one hand and use the other hand to hold it on a fitting up high.

Pistol Grip Hand Guns.
Macnaught K32 from Australia is top component quality, beats the **** out of the Swiss scheisse-chain-pullers. I have both. The Swiss have a distributor in FL you could buy a new one from. Youtube has a video that shows how to pack it, if you are a masochist. When in use, the Swiss is the best - balance of things is unmatched. Lincoln 1134 is made in India now and is super solid. Milton S-3101 is the next step down, yet is quite solid. Also made in India, $25 direct from mfg via Amazon. The rest is China

I ended up with a pistol grip Lincoln from Northern Tool. It works very well and is fairly robust. It should serve me well for the next 10-20 years.

I have an Alemite pistol grip at home. I bought it from Carquest and it will probably last forever at the rate I useit. My current work unit has a heavy duty westward (surprisingly it is a decent Lincoln knock off)and a Lincoln pistol grip both have been decent.

The zerk in the u joint makes it go at an angle and the latching is not secure. Grease just comes out of the tip and pops off the zerk. Do they make some lower profile coupler part?

I hate these things, I have an old lincoln one but it leaks from all ends, i get more grease on my self and the driveway then in the fittings! Do they make replacement plunger seals for these things? Living in AZ makes grease run like water, guess I need to store it in the fridge.

Same things happens to me with the heat. Mobil 1 oozes out like RLL.... My zerks on my ball joints make a mess as well as they also leak.
