Great deal on dimple dies

Here is a great deal on dimple die sets coming out of a machine shop in Texas.

To sum it up, this is a small family owned machine shop in a small town who lost pretty much all business because of the slow economy. They were looking for ideas of things to keep the shop running and they figured they could make these dimple dies for a better price then the ones currently on the market.

Never seen those before, Have to get the sizes and make myself a set. They look neat and i already have a few idea's how i could apply them!

They said shipping to other countries is $25 on the thread linked by OP. That still beats the standard pricing! I say jump!

What are these used for? They said they had a link to pics of common applications, but I just found pics of them in use, with no specific application that I could identify.

Cutting the hole in the plate makes it lighter, the dimple makes it stiffer.

I just put in an order for a set made of 4140.

I got these a few weeks back and thought maybe you guys would want to see some pictures of them.

These dimple dies are very nice. There was a small mix-up in my order but they took care of it very quickly and sent out the right product right after I made my call. I haven't used these to make anything significant yet but here are some pictures of the dies.

If you are thinking you need some of these this is a very good deal. Way cheaper than the competition, great customer service and made in the USA.
