Great forum!!

I've been in the process of building a decent sized pole barn (2 years to date) and any time I've had to Google something that I was unsure of I have been directed to this forum where I have found many of m answers and solutions. So I've decided to join the family. This forum has helped me from framing and insulation questions to 2 post lift questions. I'm still "work in progress" but can see light at the end of the tunnel.......finally! I have been finishing everything on my own with help whenever possible from a good friend. Just wanted to say great forum and I'm sure I'll be looking for more answers.

Welcome I too have a pole barn. if you have pictures of you building the pole barn start a thread in garage gallery's and show lots of pictures we like pictures.

Bonehead.....Welcome to Garage Journal. If you would be so kind, would you put the state you live in into your profile? No need for a city, but just a state will suffice. It helps when answering questions, and it helps us when asking questions. Along with that, you may have some neighbors close to you. I've met some very good friends on here and we meet up a few times a year now to go to swap meets, car shows, and the like. Thank you.

I can't help you out with pole barn questions, but I know that quite a few on here can.

Thanks guys....I should have some l pics that I can post. Thanks for the heads up on the location, I'll take care of that.

I have several quick major projects this month where I'll possible be picking some brains.

1) Installation of a 10k 2 post lift
2) extending air compressor line from compressor room to fab shop/workshop area
3) lighting (t8 or t5 or ??)
