Background is in Electrical/Electronics 
(however a career in it ruins the hobby), Wood working, Antique restoration, furniture restoration, any and all DIY project. I also restore older mechanical cash registers. My son is now old enough we have started to rebuild older bicycles. Fishing (everything but fly fishing), Lure making, rod building.
....and dont forget yard maintenance and all that goes with it.
Cubs, Packers, Blackhawks, Huskers, Kenseth, anyone but Jimmy, Rapala, Miller Lite, Johnny Walker, Ribeye-rare, and Oswald did it solo.
