Don't be shaking anybody's beverage cans.

Simple design, I can many members here making their own.

Use that tool or your design of a similar nature to shake-up soda cans, have some sort of a puncture mechanism (bottom of can), and see which flies highest. Kinda-like those water-pressure powered rockets

Couple feet of PVC pipe with a nail in the bottom. Drop them in like mortars, when they bottom out on the nail they come flying right back out!

Great idea. Old saw blade and zip ties might work too.

Somewhere I have an old recipe blade screwed to a stick and 2 large hose clamps. Works pretty good.

Right , cause it takes so much effort to shake a paint can, if you can't shake a can how will you ever hold it and push the nozzle?

yep, solution looking for a problem.

eta - trick #1 is setting the can out in the sun first thing as you prepare for your painting project. Will shake / mix a lot easier AND you get some added pressure.

just wondering if it gets mixed better.

I know they have a trigger device that pushes the nozzle for you.

I bought one of those. Unfortunately, it was after I realized I was redneck and spray painted an aluminum row boat with 14 cans of spray. I couldn't write my name for a week, but my thumbs were fine. See

I shook a $20 can of SCAG touch up paint for 2 minutes by hand and it was still watery out of the nozzle - 30 seconds in this thing and it was much much better. Obviously these young guys like the physical work out..... I enjoy my gadgets and hydraulics...

I used to use a lot of truck bed liner in a can (it's really a strong, textured paint) 6-8 cans per cargo rack. A good shaker and the spray can "gun"sure made things go amooth!

Yea its my understanding that the spray cans literally need a minute of true shaking so they dont spit and sputter

How many people really shake a can that long

I get lazy and dont

15 seconds in this beats shaking by hand for 2 minutes.

Our cases of Prist came with a plastic device that you clipped on the can to allow you to pull a trigger rather than pushing down on the nozzle.

It was great when you had a large jet fuel order.

I like my pneumatic Astro paint shaker

Same here (though I have the HF pneumatic model). Mine will easily shake two or even three rattle cans at the same time, and will get your paint to a smoother consistency than any amount of elbow damage.

Also works on natural peanut butter to integrate the oily part.

Running spray bombs under relatively hot water for a few minutes helps the paint mix and spray better, too. DO NOT USE A TORCH OR HEAT GUN.

I guess the question that needs to be asked: Could you write your name before?:lol_hitti:lol_hitti
