After 18 months of planning everything is a go. Building a pole barn 40x56x12. It will be shingled and sided to match the house. Got my permit today.:bounce: Excavating will take place Monday. My brother-in-law and I will start setting posts a few days after.
The barn will have (1) 16x10 overhead door on the eave wall. On my back wall I was thinking about 4-5 rectangular non-opening windows that are up out of the way. What do you guys think and does anyone have this type set up with pics.
I will start a thread of the build shortly so stay tuned!

If you have snow in your area, then a door on the eave wall is a BAD idea. Guess where all the snow will fall from the roof? In front of the door.
