This magazine is from 1936 and thought I would share a few of the pages. I am amazed at all the different companies that made industrial machinery back then.
Cool pictures. I remember seeing and using many of the machine shown when I served my toolroom machinist apprenticeship in 1965 and later when I worked part time in a small job shop.
I ran Van Norman milling machines back in the mid 1970's while working in the repair department of a large metal stamping company in Florida. Those 22'L's and #12's are still in use today having since been rebuilt and added DRO's. Had a small #6 in my home shop for a while before I got a Bridgeport clone. A co-worker where I'm at now has a #12 in his home garage shop.
