Don't want to start up and older thread again but, at Costco yesterday they had the 2700 lumen SO led work lights for $25 each, I bought 10 of them, and 8 of them at mounted to the roof in my Quonset on the farm, keeps everything really bright in there and than I have to I walk around with while working on the tractor and vehicles. Thor old 500watt halogen are only good for pre heating the tractors oil pan and that's it.

Mail me one!!!! Please!!! Lol

I don't have any Costco near by.

Union Gap, WA Costco has a bunch in stock. Bought one and love it. Will make working on my bike much easier without the burning sensation.

Tons at I17 & 101 Costco too. 29.99, but it is the 2000 Lumen version. In the end, I decided to skip them for now. I want more lumens and cheaper too. LOL.

Same thing here in Eastern Iowa. I'd like to find the 2700 for $25,I'd buy 10 of them too.

Picked one up a couple months ago and forgot about it until I went to Costco and saw them in the tools isle. Took it out of the box and tried it. Nice little light so giving this thread a bump.

I bought the 2000 lumen Friday for $34. Nice light for the money but not as good as the two 12V DC flood lights I mounted to my tool cart a week or so ago.

FYI, my costco has added the dreaded asterisk of doom to their price signs for this. If you don't already know, any price sign with an * in the top rights means they will not be restocking when they sell out.

The Costco in Franklin, TN has a whole pallet of the 2000 lumen version for $29.99. I stopped in there today to pick up a second one at $34 and found the price to be marked down. So I own three of these lights now. Gonna mount two in the garage and keep the third portable.

Have to remember to take my receipt in for the first one I bought to get the $5 difference refunded.

I bought one at COSTCO and liked it so much I went and bought a second one. Now that I use both I went and bought a third one since you never know with COSTCO when they stop supplying a product. The heir and the spare.

For example one product I use all the time from COSTCO is Oil Eater. Best degreaser/cleaner I have ever used. Now I can't find it at COSTCO and had to go to Amazon and paid a lot more even with Amazon Prime.

Just an FYI these were at my local Costco.... picked up one, and liked it so much, I got another. I will probably get a 3rd. I can definitely see a use for them when detailing cars.

Does anyone know what type of pole to use so that one can mount them up higher?

The ones I got were 2000 lumens and pure white light. Made my Dewalt halogen work light look like piss... I threw the Dewalt one out yesterday. The amount of heat it produced and piss yellow light are NO MORE! For being made in China I gotta say these are decent so far. I love the light that it throws out.

Check Craigslist for a stand. Around here there always seem to be a few of the old halogen lights with stands listed. Throw away, err, I mean properly recycle the halogen light and keep the stand.

I've been thinking of mounting a few on my eaves for light in the backyard. Anyone have thoughts if the spot and spread of the beam is suitable for this? Is the temp of the light warm or more cool? I hate cool white LED...

I bought one then another after using it. They are GREAT, and for $29.99 at my store a no brainer.

Also, if looking for TRIPODS- search Amazon or the like for speaker stands. Super robust.

I mounted one of mine upside down to the bottom of some overhead shelving. Took the handle off of it so there's plenty of room to walk underneath but it's easy to reach up and switch on or off.

I don't know what the actual temp of the light is but I definitely wouldn't call it warm. If not neutral then it leans toward the blue end. The light pattern it throws is great though. That one mounted the way I have it does a great job of lighting up the opposite front half of the garage with no hot spot.

I just picked up two of these tonight. Still a good amount left at the Chesterfield, VA Costco. They were $29.99 and had an asterisk on the sign. I'd say maybe 15 or so left. Thanks for the tip!

Not sure why this didn't even hit me until early this morning... I have two of these that have been sitting in the basement doing nothing:

http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00S01Q8A2/?tag=atomicindus08-20

They had a clamp style ring around the top then a normal light bulb fixture. I removed the light bulb fixture which then left me with s solid brass post on the top. I got my tap/die set and threaded the post to I believe a 10mm 1.5 thread and then drilled a hole through the black leg bracket of the light. Now, I can stick the entire snap on led light fixture on the post and use a nut to secure it without having to remove the legs then mount the light housing to the post.

I love these lights, I'm getting another one tomorrow so I can use in my basement modding room. I love the light output that these put out. Color temp I would say about 4000k. Mine have ZERO hint of blue, they are pure white. Comparing them with other 4000k bulbs and leds I have makes those look blue. To me this is the perfect color if you want BRIGHT, clear light.

Bringing back an old thread. Does anyone know if costco still sells these? I dont have a costco card. Wife says we can get a temporary one. Are there any other stores that sell these? Is there a newer equivalent i should look out for? Amazon has the light but there almost double the price. Thanks

They're not in any of the five or six Costco warehouses I've been in around the country over the last couple of months.

Costco has a lot of "in and out" items. They get a good deal on a batch or 2 of cheap merch and when it's gone, it's gone.

Exactly, Don’t delay on something you think you might want at Costco. Buy while the buyin’s good.

I bought two of the Snap-on licensed corded LED lights, and gave the 2000 lumen one to my neigbor for some plumbing he did at my place. I’m happy to still have my first 1600 lumen version.

Even better were the CAT licensed rechargable LED lights a couple of yesrs ago. I got two of those and use them often. The version earlier this yesr that ran on AA batteries didn’t seem as nice.

I bought mine from Amazon in 2014 and the price wasn't bad, but the flux on this thing has been nuts. $21 in November of 2016.

Am I the only one always buying **** I don't need? I think I have a problem when there's a cement mixer in my basement "just in case".

I do this if I see tools or things on sale. Then I'll get into a project and forget I bought something that would have made the job 10x easier.

I believe this is Sam's Club business model not Costco. Costco looks for qualty products that sell. If they dont move then they're gone and another product takes its place.
