gree mini split indoor 9k unit not working in heating mode

Hoping for some suggestions before contacting Gree.

This TERRA09HP230V1AH was working great in cooling mode. Now, when selecting heat it doesnt work at all. The unit is beeping and receiving the remote control signals correctly, but just won't turn on. No error codes are shown.

There are 3 other (same) idu's connected to this system and they work fine in heat. So, imo it's not the ODU, the reversing valve, or ODU control board.

I think it's the indoor unit control board, since it worked in cooling nicely. Not sure how to check that tho.

If it was low on refrigerant, all units would be affected, right? I will spend more time tomorrow giving a hard reset andlooking at obvious stuff like electrical connections, temp sensor, etc.

Did you try turning the breaker off for ~30 minutes?

First thing we tell our customers when a problem like this comes up.

I havent had a single service call for those units!

Update- system is working great after the 30 min reset!

Defrosting properly, and all units heating well.

Other than this issue, has the Gree worked well?

I'm getting estimates for my install and Gree is one of the options (hadn't heard of them before but I'm new at this).

Great units, excellent bang for the buck.

FYI:

The company is a multinational enterprise with 70,000 employees and annual production of 65.5 million units.

Yup it's worked great so far but I heavent had it long at all. A couple months. We like it so much, I'm currently installing another 3 head Gree system as well.

But, justinjoyal was the one who pointed me towards Gree, I never heard of them before either.

He's a pro and knows his stuff.
