Is there anybody out there that has any access to Gree mini split parts?
I bought a Gree 36k neo heat pump it has worked flawlessly till 2 weeks ago.
It has sprung a leak in the evaporator on the inside unit. Gree says May on a new one. I have tried to buy a whole new inside unit with no luck because I am not a licensed HVAC contractor. ACwholesalers has been a joke as has Gree customer service. If I can't find a new inside unit or an evaporator I will have to junk the whole system and start over, and you can be sure it won't be a Gree or from acwholesalers.

Just asking --- is it out of warranty?

Gree is huge ..... parts seem to be a problem with many.

No it is still in warranty, but that's a whole different story.
I'm just trying to fix the heater in my shop before May.

Get it fixed under warranty ? Or you can’t because it was a DIY thing?

First time I hear of a leaking evaporator on a Gree !

I see Gree indoor units for sale on ebay. Don't know which one you need. I'd assume that ACWholesalers would be happy to "order parts" for you as they're obviously doing the middle-man work, but I guess that's not a thing...

I don't know if you'll have better luck or not with another brand - the only consumer-friendly brand I know of is Mr.Cool. The Daikins that I just bought basically say no warranty for internet purchases, etc..

A bit more information would be helpful -- especially since under warranty.

Is it a case they are willing to give you the part .. but don't have one?

Has the model changed ..so a new one will not be compatible.

I'm not sure that under warranty applies to his case:
"Limited warranty applies only to systems that are properly installed by a state certified or licensed HVAC contractor......"
