I use uBlock (an ad blocker) in my browser and just right clicked on my page, clicked block element, clicked the picture, clicked "create" and no more annoyance. Possible with other ad blockers as well I'm sure but the process might be slightly different.

I'm guessing that it's detecting some posts as spam and triggering an alert. It only appeared in this thread when Mike posted the pinup. Let's see if it does it again

Give it some time. See if the above pinup causes the hammer to come on to this page as well.

BTW. I'm concerned about the COO of that hammer.

I use AdBlock plug in for Chrome. Clicked my tool bar icon for AdBlock, selected "Block an ad on this page", clicked on the ****** green hammer and now it is gone.

That thing was creeping me out. It seems like a stupid icon for a spam blocker. When I googled it the results seemed to indicate it is to block e-mail spam, so why is it on a forum???

Simon.....just to clear up the muddy water, do we or do we not click on it and download it to our computer? I trust this site, but like others, it's not REAL clear what to do all for the fact when you click on it to see what it is, it wants to download.
