Does anyone have any opinions on this set for moderate home/auto use. I've never heard of this brand before, but I know Costco usually doesn't sell inferior products.

Well, If you can't get new batteries, then it would make both of these tools useless in a couple of years. Lithium battery life is based on time, doesn't matter if you it once or 100 times.
I think Ryobi have the same deal sometimes.
For professional use, I would definitely get something better :)

Look at ryobi. At least you know you'll be able to get batteries if need be, and there are ALOT of other tools that run on the same batteries that you may find useful later

Thanks for the input guys. I ended up going to Lowe's for a Porter Cable and ended up leaving with a Dewalt. I believe I made the right decision.
