I was using these today and it brought up memories of the master craftsman who willed them to me years ago. He was the kind of guy who leaves tools to his friends in his will. We worked together building and remodeling houses back in the '90s and Oughts. He retired from carpentry at 75, and had bought these new when he started as an apprentice electrician, so I'm thinking they qualify as "vintage":

That's the full set from 7/8" to 1 1/4". I replaced the drive screw for the 7/8" punch a few years ago after breaking it on a particularly tough box and the new one with bearings (also Greenlee) is much better.

Post yours if you have 'em!

I picked up a Greenlee set like the OP's at a garage sale for $5 a few years ago because I didn't have one, and found that since I have it, I use it often.

$5?!!

Have you seen new prices? That really qualifies for a "You ****!"

If you don't have them already, the new drive screws with the thrust bearings make using these tools twice as easy. Unfortunately, if you replace both screws in the set, the set will no longer fit the leather case.
