Greetings from sunny NJ

Hey gang, just wanted to check in. I've been lurking here for about 2 years or so. There's never really been a need to post since 99% of what I wanted to know was found through a simple search, but I figured I'd just register at this point anyways. I've got a nissan, a mazda, and a ford truck here and try to do everything by myself. I was trying to fill in missing pieces from my tool collection which brought me here in the first place. I was guilty at times of not exactly having the right tool and trying to make do without it...usually leading to more frustration....but those days are no more.
My garage is nothing to write home about. I can pull a car in and work on it if need be with space to move around it, but that's about it. Better than my last place though....I could pull my truck in, barely, and then not even be able to open the door halfway. I'll take what I can get.

Anyways...just wanted to say "HI"...I won't have much to add but it's still a cool place to hang out...if I can try to stay out of the classifieds...

SD: now if you read a good thread you can post a well done or thanks or whatever so the posters know somebody cares what they had to say. or ask questions if you have any which i tend to do a lot.

i bet i might own 100 or more ratchets and mostly because of wanting to buy more old tools and toolboxes and i still grab the crescent wrench because i did use what was available for many many years.

if you have a cool picture to post under your new GJ name go in to your personal profile and click on Avitar (I don't know why they named it that either) and download one that will show up in the space where my big rusty bull is that's made out of old tools and parts.
