Welcome Jonathan, gentleman, this guy and I have become close good friends. He has known my brother for years and has helped him with some of the heavy equipment how owns as well as repairs to his quads and other items. My recent house purchase included a Kawasaki Brute Force that apparently had been overheated badly before I became the owner. I had trouble getting it running and when I finally did discovered the coolant had quickly disappeared, ending up in the crankcase. My brother gave me Jonathans contact information and he has been working on my quad. I discovered he also has a love of Ford products and built a burnout championship winner Fox Body a few years ago. He has developed an affection for my Shelby clone, and has offered his knowledge and assistance in finishing the EFI install that I've been working on.
In addition to this he has given up two weekends of his time to help move the contents of the garage where I used to live to my new to me post divorce home. This move included 5 pieces of Lista cabinets, the contents of these and the huge quantity of stuff I have accumulated over the years. His sacrifice, help, and assistance has been invaluable to me in this process.
After we finished what we could on Saturday night I offered Jonathan a cold one, I quickly upped the offer to a gin & tonic to which he replied sure. I use Bombay Sapphire, Canada Dry tonic and a quarter of a lime when I make these. It was truly refreshing and Jonathan said he really enjoyed it, yesterday afternoon as we were loading his pickup bed with two Lista cabinets he informed me there would be a tax on his work for the day. I would have to make him another gin & tonic, absolutely I replied. We sat at me kitchen table sipping these until late in the night. I revealed to him several things about my divorce that have been causing me great pain and he offered his support and assistance in any way that would be needed.
I shared with him many of the tools I have added to my collection that I discovered here, he has purchased several already, last night I showed him the Koken and Nepros tool lines. He wants to get some Racedeck flooring for his shop after seeing it on the floors of my new and old garage, and has fallen in love with Lista cabinets. Sorry Jonathan for pulling you into the Nexis, but welcome my new good friend.
