Hello all. My name is Josh and I reside in What we call SWVA (south western Virginia). I have only lurked here about a week as I ran across the site searching for info on some vises. I should be upfront and say that I have realized I have a fetish for older/vintage tools so when I ran across an older Reed vise and looked for info (of which there seems to be sadly little I came across you folk thankfully!! Until this vise came up I hadn’t done an inventory of the ones I already had, probably consciously I’d figure as there’s at least 7 or 8 or ....Anyway I did purchase the said vise, a story in itself but I’m looking for information on how to dismantle it for cleaning as it’s a little stiff opening and closing. It’s a REED 206R. Could probably figure it out but don’t wanna ruin it so thought I’d ask here first . Well thanks for all the amazing info that you folks have provided here, nice to see and have access to for sure. Josh
