Greetings from a new member

Hello all. I am long overdue in posting an introduction. So here goes. I live in Southern Illinois and have serveral vintage Craftsman power tools the belonged to my dad. I am getting ready to refurbish a 1941 Craftsman 15 inch floor DP which has both the table lift and the variable middle speed pulley. My biggest fear is that I will venture into some disassembly tasks and not know what I am doing nor have the proper tools. Knowledge is power and that is why I joined this forum.
