I have been working on cars as a hobby for nearly 30 years. These days I work on my Toyota, Lexus, and a 4.6 liter V8 Mustang GT.
I will probably repair cars part time after I retire from my day job. If ICE cars are still allowed by then.
I enjoy collecting decent quality hand tools: Knipex, Klein tools, Gedore, Wera, Maximum (Canadian brand) and some Craftsman.
Yep Craftsman. Some deals are just too good to pass up. Last week I picked up a brand new 1/2" Craftsman ratchet for $11.99 CAD. First thing I did was take it apart. It was bone dry inside.
