Hey everyone! Happy Tuesday from Bucks county (SE) PA!
I'm in the early planning and gathering ballpark quotes phase of a garage replacement. The current garage is a 22x22 2 car detached that's in rough shape. It looks like it started as a 1 car or large shed and was widened to 2 car, and then deepened at a later date to its current size. When we bough the house 14 years ago the home inspector peeked up in the attic area of the garage and told us not to store anything up there - so we knew a rebuilt was in the future. 14 years later, the roof is starting to fail, so the future is now.
In broad strokes, the plan is to go bigger - 30x32, and a second story office/workout/rec space. I'm also planning on 12' ceiling downstairs as I want to install a lift. I'm slowly (agonizingly slowly) working on an 88 Monte Carlo SS. It was a car my father bought, and the car I learned to drive in.
