Hi I'm Paul,
I have spent my entire life in central California. I have been in the trucking industry all my life, first as an independent owner/operator and then as a fleet mechanic for a large beverage manufacturer. I love and collect a wide variety of old tools, trucks, and tractors. I have enjoyed browsing the forums and the stories are amazing. Hours of entertainment. My latest acquisition has finally gave me the nudge to join garage journal. Usually I can successfully find information on new items or projects. I just scored a tool box at an estate sale and can't find any information about it. So, I'll be posting about it soon. Paul

Welcome to the GJ. also from cali ( the 619 - SanDiego ) I work in the moving and storage industry so I know a little about trucking as well. your screen name makes me smile as many years ago my great aunt had an ice cream parlor and candy store on her property in upstate ny. I clearly remember the " soda jerk " working behind the counter.

So, where in the Central Valley?

We used to live in Madera for about 25-years.

Got to be too hot in the summer and too cold in the winter.
