Greetings from eastern NC! Great site with all the info! Looking forward to getting good tips on here! Trying to get a converted basement garage back to garage. Will get pictures on another thread soon if I can figure out how to do that. We have a basement garage that was converted to bonus room in the house we just bought. Have looked online for alternative track systems for low clearance garage door tracks due to drop ceiling. Have found vertical track overlay system that stacks the garage panels over the door opening but only found those that are offered in Europe, none in US so far - Renlita Sovereign & Silvico? Trento models. We're taking half of it back to garage and can remove the portion of ceiling over door opening to accommodate this type of system but can't remove all of ceiling as suggested by installer. Have checked height and it will work with low clearance rails and a jackshaft opener from Liftmaster with adapter for low clearance that they offer. Also thought of coiling rollup but not sure on that for residential due to noise. Any suggestions?
