Hi All, long time lurker, first time poster. Initially drawn here by the tool discussion since i'm currently trying to build up a vintage tool set to carry in my hotrod project, but also for quite a while have been collecting antique woodworking stuff for cabinet making and furniture projects. Dont really ever get a lot done, it's more of a hands-on history lesson for me; it's the journey and not the destination sort of thing. Also mess around with a little blacksmithing, mostly for tweaking, hardening/tempering blades and parts for woodworking tools or modifying car parts. Basement and garage look like a hoarders episode with car & truck projects, a couple bikes, smithing and welding junk, cabinet and machine shops, ceramics studio, brewery, taxidermy and reloading, the list is endless, plus i work from home to make it even worse. maybe this place will inspire me to clean it out. If not, and i meet my demise in a cave-in, you guys are all invited to a kick-*** estate sale...
