Hello fellow members, glad to be here. This looks like a really nice place to talk garage, tools, home improvement, and DIY stuff in general without any distractions.

I am a mechanical engineer by trade, mostly doing work in the aerospace sector. I have a 2 car attached garage that I have been improving sporadically (i.e. slowly evicting the cars and turning it into a proper workshop), and I also have two kids and a wife, which means that my garage improvement is one of those never ending affairs, but it's all good.

I hope to learn from fellow DIYers on this board, and to contribute what I can.
