I am in the process of building a 40' X 40' pole barn I bought from DIY pole barns. I hope to set the trusses this weekend weather permitting!!

I am on the VA line outside of Roxboro, NC.
This has been a long process to this point mostly due to weather. The package arrived in June & the delivery truck could not get up my driveway so all the materials ended up across the street @ my neighbors house. The backhoe for grading broke down within 1 hr. of starting to grade. I was able to get a line truck to bore the holes for the 22 6X6 posts, ( Before the grading was done ). Had to hire a co. to do the grading after the posts were set & its been raining ever since - what a mud hole.

With a start like that, it can only get better, right? Sounds like you are up around Virgilina, I'm in Oxford.

I'd say you don't have a mud issue now, it's 19* here at the moment. That mud should be concrete by now.

Good luck and hang tough. Better weather is coming! AND Welcome to GJ!
