Hi all,

My name is Chris. I live in North East Ohio and hope to start a 40x63x12'6" within the next couple months. Maybe sooner if my work load at work keep up like that last couple months!

Menards seems to have the best value in kits but I have Carter Lumber putting a price on a 40x64x12 kit as well, but so far Menards is proving tough to beat value wise.

Anyway, I just wanted to introduce myself.

Ok,

So 40x63x12'6" Menards building just turned into a 40x64x10' 64 metals building. The vaulted truss gives me more room for a lift and they beat Menards price! We ordered the kit Saturday!

Will do. As soon as I get back into town I will create a build thread. I will snap some pics of the site and start the thread then. I hope site work will start soon. The building should be delivered in about 10 weeks or so... depending on how quickly the building department approves the plans. I have the zoning permit now so I am good to go there.

Hopefully I can have the work I need to do at my Dad's house done in 10 weeks. If not it will be a slow go at first. Not a huge deal at this point as we just want it up and ready to movie into by the time winter rolls back around.

Hot Rods are cool yes I am more of a muscle car guy though. When the shop is done I will be rebuilding a '71 Pontiac Firebird. Going to be a Pro Touring kind of deal. C6 drive train. C6 based 4 Wheel IRS suspension. LS power. Possibly twin Turbo'd.
