Hellow Garage mavens!

I signed up a while ago to get some ideas for workbenches and such for the new shop space I am renting for my car projects. I built an L-shaped bench and mounted some cabinets I got for free, with them all painted in a similar manner to my Kobalt tool chest.

I am refinishing a steel cabinet along the same lines, and intend to build a rolling table from the cabinet currently seen under the bench. I have been enjoying the vise and drill press threads, and expect to add some additional tools as time goes on.

TC: might i suggest that you put your area in your profile so members will know which part of the world you live in when you are not on this thread. might improve your answers and then they won't ask where you live instead of giving you a good answer first off.

nice looking shop. i think you just need a nice old US made vise and I've heard that there are quite a few nice ones in your area on Craigslist for under $100 so watch for one and be quick. you can PM me if you have questions about buying one or if you need a little help, but if the vise doesn't have any cracks, welds or missing parts most all the old time vises work great as you might have noticed on the vise threads.
