Hi all, I stumbled on this forum during some early morning bench vise research after I broke my vintage vise (dual swivel Flexivise) attempting to extract a universal joint. Sad day for my vise...good day for finding such a cool forum. Anyways I look forward to learning from you all and sharing anything I can contribute. Since this is an introduction post... I guess I should give a quick bio:

I work on Research Vessels in the Arctic
small garage in beach town apartment (space is precious)
too many hobbies to become an expert at any of them
rather do it myself than pay someone else
every DIY project is an excuse to get more tools

Jeeps (Wrangler TJ)
Surfing
Hunt/Hike/Mt. Bike
Long range shooting (new to reloading)
Kydex forming (thermoforming)
Carpentry/Woodworking
